No appointment needed, though we're happy to schedule time with a designer if you'd like dedicated one-on-one attention. Just walk in.

Walk through our full floor of living, dining, bedroom, and accessory collections. Take your time, sit in the chairs, open the drawers.

Meet a designer

Our experienced decorators will listen to how your room is actually lived in, then help you narrow down the right pieces, fabrics, and finishes.

Customize your piece

Nearly 60% of what we sell is custom. Choose your fabric, finish, leg style, and configuration from hundreds of options. We'll handle the rest.

We deliver to your door

White-glove delivery throughout Ocala and Central Florida. We'll place every piece exactly where you want it and take away all the packaging.

Director of Design Studio

Kay Rains

Head of the Koontz Design Studio, specializing in custom work, fabric, and draperies. Kay holds degrees in Interior Design from Florida State University and Architecture from Florida A&M University, with prior experience at a top Houston architectural firm.

Design Consultant

Carol Norris

Educated at Marquette University and Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Carol brings over 30 years of architectural and interiors experience from Wisconsin and South Florida. She assists clients with room accessorizing and full home design.

Design Consultant

Tarra Gray

Relocated from Louisville with her own design company specializing in residential interiors and new construction. A show house winner with projects across Phoenix, Savannah, Hilton Head, and St. Augustine, focused on preserving architectural integrity.

Barbara Robertson

A native Ocalan who joined Koontz in 2004. Barbara's goal is simple: help every client achieve the look and lifestyle they're after - and become their friend along the way.

Originally from Connecticut and an Ocala resident for 30+ years. Catherine recently returned to furniture sales after a career in beauty wholesale leadership - bringing decades of client-first experience back to the showroom floor.

Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, Magela brings experience in home staging for South Florida realty firms and boutique design. A visual artist specializing in equestrian themes, landscapes, and abstracts.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment needed. Walk in any time during showroom hours. If you'd like dedicated time with a specific designer, give us a call and we'll set something up.

How long does a custom order take?

Lead times vary by vendor and complexity, typically 6 to 14 weeks for custom upholstery. Your designer will give you a more accurate estimate when you place your order.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. We offer white-glove delivery throughout Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida area. We'll place every piece, set up the room, and remove all packaging.

Can I bring in room measurements or photos?

Please do. A floor plan sketch, room dimensions, and photos of your existing space (or inspiration images) help our designers enormously and make the visit much more productive.

What brands do you carry?

We carry premier brands including Hancock & Moore, Jessica Charles, Lee Industries, American Leather, Century Furniture, Paul Robert, Theodore Alexander, and Bermex, among others. Our team can special-order from an extensive catalog of additional makers.
